the other day future-talked with my uncle.
well rarely meet him because he stayed on the other side of Singapore.
came the other day and brought my younger brother and I out for breakfast.

whenever he came, he would usually ask how I`m doing etc.
once a while meet so those are obvious questions.
im surprised his daughter is in University already.
NTU. she`s 19. JC route. oh yeah.

he always told me to keep on learning whenever i can.
if possible he wants me to go Uni after NS.
thats not the likely route i`d go. i just cant study books. i will waste time & money.
i rather work and go for some courses that offers skills.
to me skills and experiences are better than study certs.

then in his car before heading back home, he showed me his car license.
i had practically no idea what he is getting to until he showed me the list of vehicles he can drive.
i was surprised. he had license class 2B, 2A, 2, 3A, 3, 4 & 5 !
can you just imagine?! he can drive almost anything! ><

and then he took out another license card.
he could operate a forklift and a crane!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
add a taxi license to the list!

he was very proud of himself. i know it.
told me he worked hard to earn all this.
during his time, my mum's time too, their family live a hard life.
he is who he is today because of his relentless efforts.
& yes he is very much well-off.

joked he`s not the kind of person who could do business job.
he`s more to technical stuffs. can really tell that.
and those electrical wirings in houses, he have that certification to approve the wirings!
seriously, i was speechless to just know my uncle have all these in him.
all these years he never told me anything about this.
perhaps i`m all grown up now.

told me to never stop learning and striving to get what i want.
well i hope i really could achieve what i want.
pray i could repay back my parents and give them a good life.
the future is so uncertain. so very much uncertain.

well as for now, let me clear my National Service.
wait.
before that, i`m gonna sooooo enjoy my life before it.
& there are already many plans laid out. ohhh yeahhh!

when i was a kid...

i thought that planets are countries. Singapore was Earth, Australia is Jupiter and so on.

i behaved when watching Crimewatch because i thought the police hosts is able to see me.

i brought pen to write my name on green packets during Hari Raya because i dont want it to get mixed together with my sis's.

i took picture with my sis & little brother and the Powerpuff Girls at Downtown East... & my pant's zip was down.

i stole the 4-coloured pen from my religious teacher's table when in his house because thats the first time i saw it & i was fascinated by its mechanism.

i always have trouble controlling my bladder at night & there goes my mattress under the sunlight in the morning.

enough eh? i have no idea why im posting all these shameful things. its out of the blue, honestly. well... thats abit of my younger days.

been dead bored these days. been helping sis with her school project on Racial Harmony.
yeah i eventually got myself into the library to go and borrow books. that, is unlike me.
i don`t really read non-fiction books, whats more with history.
and i borrowed this book "Nadra Tragedy" and only read 2 pages so far since last 3-4 days?
whats more saddening is those 2 pages are just names of people that`ll be mentioned in the book.

its not hard to read a book for me. its just that the starting is always difficult but once indulged,
then there goes. i`ll read and read until finish.
still remember that time i read "Harry Potter & The Order of The Phoenix".
766 pages. done in 2 days. okay well... fiction mah. haha.

the Halal Thai Chinese restaurant.
Yong Woei, Kai Siong, Weihon, Liling, Shumin, Cihui, Peishi & Yvette.

90% of whats on the table... never eat before.
not malay kind of dish. i did eat anyway.
all foreign taste to my tongue, haha.
