i love you, mum.
this vicious cycle of life is straining the relationship of a son & his mum.
the son hardly had time for his family, especially for her.
for he had drowned in the fiendish current of the vast teenage life.
school work killed him right from the start but even so he persevered through it.
emotional problems were kept deep in the heart for he had not wanted to burden anyone.
nonetheless it is not a bother to him for he had his mum.
if anyone else could not save him from his misery, his mum will.
the mum is always there to help him through to ease his burden.
as a son, he appreciated & thanked the mum for her guidance & motivation.
and lately, the bond between the two is damaged with high tension.
schoolwork is piling up & he had no choice but to complete them.
he wants to study hard & get good grades.
to achieve the best & prove to his mum that her effort in nurturing him is not wasted.
but the mum don`t understand this.
she wondered why the son is always engulfed with work.
she was worried for he never had proper rest & dislike him staying up late.
the son sees his mum`s concern but he had no choice.
every night, he will be doing work.
there will be nights when the mum will force the son to go to sleep.
but the son will always insist on finishing his school work.
because that is his way to get to the next level of education.
because that is his way to repay his mum`s love.
the son gets frustrated & the mum gets confused.
he was on tears to think of what is happening to his life.
wishing everything to be back to normal, hoping this life will get better.
"i love you, MUM."
black will paint over white,
& red will stain it.
